Navigate to the Activity or Map sections of the sidebar to see your recorded activity. Depending on what application you’re using, you’ll be able to view the screenshots, keyboard/mouse activity levels, apps, URLs, and/or location maps. While you are recording time, your activities will be uploaded to your web dashboard. The app does not record activities when you are not tracking time. Upon clicking the Play button, the app begins recording your time and activities. You can also click the play button next to a task name to track time to that specific task. Select the project name, and click on the play button to start recording. Last, if you can verify that you are signed in, and you are assigned to projects, it is likely that your organization has been suspended for non-payment. If you are not assigned to any projects you will not be able to track time.

If you are already signed in, please make sure you are assigned to at least one project.

If it is green, you are signed in and tracking time. If it is black, it means you are signed in but not currently tracking time. If the Hubstaff Icon is red, it means you are not signed in. To do this, you can click on the menu icon on the top right corner of the app and click “Sign In.” You can also right click on the Hubstaff icon and select “Sign In” from the menu. Please make sure you have signed into the Hubstaff application.
